ROLE OF CAREGIVER, PRINCIPLES OF GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT (INFANCY TO SCHOOL - AGE)
Upon completion of Child Care Module the trainees will be able to ;
     - Define Child Care
     - Describe the principles of Growth and Development and developmental stage
     - To be able to identify characteristics or behavior of an abuse
     - Describe the causes and course of common ailments of childhood to be able to carefully assess a sick child
     - State the importance of immunizations and schedules
     - Identify and understand the role of a caregiver in every stage of growth and development, care of the  well,   
       sick and abuse

FIRST AID AND DISABILITY

The course focuses on First Aid concepts, principle, objectives and emergency management of various life - threatening injuries  and disorders.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
   At the end of the course, the trainees will be able to :
         - (Cognitive) know the principles and concepts of First Aid and                       Emergency Management
         - (Affective) Value the importance of professional  prompt attendance to  life - threatening                   
                             injuries/disorders     
        - ( Psycho motor) Apply their knowledge of First Aid whenever the situation so requires

Home Management

OBJECTIVES
    At the end of the module, trainees will know more in :
                - Food Preparation
                - House  Cleanliness and Orderliness
                - House Guidelines
   The students will be able to determine the functions of a Homemaker
   The students will be able to know the impact of Food Nutrition to the body and the
      relation of food to wine
   To understand different French Terminology in cooking

Care of the Elderly and Disabled

Upon completion of the module, the trainees will be able to:
    -  Identify the periods of  late  adulthood
    - Understand importance of assessment guidelines in the care of the elderly
    - Recognize age - related body system chances
    - Appreciate the care giver's role in health promotion and protection
    - Know the various illnesses and disturbances of the elderly
    - Perform health care services necessary in the care of the elderly
